Herbs and Tinctures:
We believe herbs can be very helpful for healing ailments and overall nutrition. We use them regularly and have had fantastic results! However, we are not medical professionals. We cannot recommend products to you. If you are on regular medications, we suggest asking your doctor before taking herbs. Herbs are safe and very effective when used appropriately. Please do your own research to find out which herbs will be best for you!
Doses:
Everybody's body responds differently to herbs. Therefore, it is easiest for each individual to determine his/her own doses. We usually start with a dropper full of tincture, 2-3 times a day. For a child, we would lessen the amount to half a dropper full, 2-3 times a day. Our rule of thumb: if we can't tell if it's working, we take a little more. Eventually we learn how our bodies respond and are able to easily determine how much to take. For the tinctures with unpleasant tastes, we either take it FAST and chase it down with a big drink, or dilute it in a big glass of juice!
Mommies:
If you are pregnant or nursing, the rules about herbs are totally different for you! Do your research and ask your doctor if these herbs are safe for you!
